About the role:

 

The Technical Support Engineer will provide support remotely, for end users and engineers - typically software/system/networking support via remote tools, with basic hardware knowledge to diagnose infrastructure issues, diagnosing & solving customer problems over the phone, via web collaboration. 
 

Responsibilities

 

  • Resolve complex end user queries & technical problems
  • Monitor call-logging systems, handle basic software/hardware/systems and networking queries, i.e. password resets, is able to do basic software imaging
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft packages (software and networking)
  • Follow SLA’s and provide timely responses

  •  Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 / Windows 11, Microsoft Office suite and other Microsoft applications
  •  Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Azure
  •  Basic understanding of Network protocols
  •  Basic knowledge of IT in General
  •  Demonstrates Passion for IT & New Technologies
  •  Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
  •  Good understanding of security practices and standards
  •  Ability to effectively interact with people at all levels, across all geographic regions
