Software Architect Solutions and Pre-Sales

Position Highlights

We are seeking a highly skilled software architect to help our technical pre-sales team and guide our development teams in creating software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive solution plans and architecture drawings for proposals to facilitate our technical pre-sales on a global level.

To be successful as a software architect, you should be an expert problem solver with a strong understanding of the broad range of software technologies and platforms available. Top candidates will also be excellent leaders and communicators.

Key Role Responsibilities & Duties: 

• Breaking down complex RFQs into solution design proposals.
• Estimate the effort, propose project team structures to facilitate bid creation.
• Auditing architectures on ongoing projects and provide recommendations.
• Creating high-level product specifications and design documents.
• Providing the development team with architectural blueprints to follow.
• Creating reference architectures which will be used for technical pre-sales and to guide development on topics like:
• cloud-native development 
• independently scalable microservices (backend)
• progressive web application 
• sustainable and scalable native mobile apps etc.
• Reviewing codebase and identifying gaps and tech. debt prior to inheriting for continuation projects.
• Creating reusable components and in-house tool-chain to facilitate architecture design creation with tight deadlines.
• Comparative analyses of technology stacks to aid selection for bid creation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Master's degree in computer science 
• Extensive (8+ years preferred) experience in software development, solutioning and project planning
• Prior experience with responding to RFP/Qs is a plus.
• Experience with cloud-native applications
• Prior experience with IoT projects is a plus.
• Experience of building scalable and sustainable applications and backend setups. 
• Solid understanding of a variety of programming tools and development platforms.
• Proficiency with standard software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Highly analytical mindset, with an ability to see both the big picture and the details.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
