Position Highlights

You will be a full-time Automation QA engineer, working with a global team. You will play a vital role through software testing automation to ensure that development and releases meet high quality standards. You will participate in Scrum ceremonies to collaborate with development teams, business analysts and product owners. The role will be completely hands-on, writing tests and supporting the development team in promoting code quality and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts to effectively validate software applications
Continuously enhance and optimize automated test suites to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability
Identify and prioritize areas for test automation based on risk analysis and business impact
Execute and analyse automated test results, investigate, and report defects, and track them to resolution
Coordinate and work with developers, business, and system analysts, and UX designers who are involved with the development
Communicate progress and test outcomes to senior management
Analyse and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot bugs found during tests
Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
Work with the director of engineering to improve the test coverage and apply best practices
Work together with the development team to enhance and improve testing and development
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation and apply them to improve existing processes

Requirements:

At least four years of professional experience
Experience with Cypress or Cucumber
Experience with Gherkin
Knowledge of Typescript
Experience with PactumJS is a plus
Extensive experience in software development testing
Understanding of Test Strategies, Test Plans
Extensive knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
Experience in E2E testing, contract testing, load testing, etc.
Experience in BDD
Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum) and working in an agile team environment
Exceptional attention to detail, strict and organized
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Great team player and able to work efficiently and proactively with minimal supervision
English – High level of communication skills (read, write, speak)
Knowledge of Java is a plus
