About the role

The Project Management Coordinator function is a highly important one communicating with all teams within the Customer Engagement Centre to track all projects, in order to alert Senior Customer Care Management to risks and roadblocks, and to ensure projects meet their defined milestones and deadlines. From time to time, it may be necessary for the Project Management Coordinator to develop and deliver training sessions to the Customer Care Trainers on their areas of expertise. 
Interactions: Internal parties (Business, Process & Tools, Reporting & Capacity Planning, Operations team).

Responsibilities:

  • Creates project plans using agreed templates
  • Organizes and Coordinates project meetings
  • Whilst reaching out to other team members, ensure all project plans are updated
  • Provide reports to Senior Customer Care Management and Senior Leadership on project status
  • Works with team members to coordinate projects to meet milestones and deadlines
  • Manage action plans for projects
  • Manage projects from identification to implementation
  • Assists with project material creation

Required experience:

  • Written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Gannt and strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Ability to work under pressure, to learn quickly in a changing environment, to use own initiative and make decisions, ability to prioritize and manage own workload
  • Logical approach to problem resolution gathers facts, takes corrective action, escalates problem at the appropriate stage, ability to work on own initiative to follow up and resolve issues
  • Team player - helping the team to achieve objectives, friendly and approachable even when busy, but firm where necessary works to team and individual standards

 

Required experience:

  • At least 2 years experience in Coordinating and running project meetings
  • At least 2 years experience with using Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint to manage project planning documents and produce reports.
  • Experience with running regular status meetings with senior management, identifying projects that need action plans, and escalating as needed

 

Required education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration with Project management certification (preferred)
