About the role:

The Power BI Data Reporting Specialist will be a go-to subject matter expert in Power BI constantly exploring new functionalities, and resolving any Power BI-related issues. The role holder will work closely with business stakeholders and the internal IT structure.

Temporary contract with the potential of further continuation.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytical outputs using business intelligence tools and technologies, such as Power BI
Provide Technical support and guidance in delivering solutions/services, resolving issues, implementing change requests, and providing tool functionality advice to report creators and report users in Power BI solutions
Prepare service metrics to measure power BI platform capacity, availability, etc.
Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.
Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently.
To be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis.
Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
Readiness to provide out-of-hours support if required and pro-actively monitor operations during out-of-office hours and intervene if monitoring reveals issues

Tick the boxes:

Excellent hands-on experience in Power BI platform activities
Good proven hands-on experience with Power BI data analysis, data models, and reports development
Strong understanding of relational databases, transaction processing procedures, and design tools
Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 / Windows 11, Microsoft Office suite, and other Microsoft applications
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Azure
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of security practices and standards
Preferably at least one qualification in an IT discipline
Understanding of ITIL methodology
