About The Role

The Global Finance Coordination function will consolidate regional budgets, analyze financial performance against targets, and provide support for corrective action. It will also verify supplier billing, ensure accurate financial processes, and promote financial optimization through collaboration with regional and corporate management.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of a financial forecast process.
  • Consolidation/maintenance of all regional budgets and forecasts
  • Analysis of financial status for all regions (Forecast/Budget)
  • Support management to develop action plans for corrective countermeasures.
  • Verification of 3rd party supplier invoices against contract and actual volumes and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure that 3rd party supplier invoices are paid within contractual timescales.
  • Ensure internal cross-charging of 3rd party supplier invoices is processed according to agreed timescales.
  • Report forecasts and budgets to regional and corporate management.
  • Maintain financial model to record key 3rd party supplier costs of services across multiple geographic sites using a mix of cost models (ASH, FTE, and Volume based).
  • Understand the impact of changes to the cost model and suggest mitigation when budget overspending is forecast.
  • Forecast other future spending activities and suggest options for cost saving when the forecast predicts expenditure above the agreed budget.
  • Raise/request for pre-approval/purchase orders.
  • Maintain SharePoint sites (incl. access control, uploading documents, etc.)
  • Manipulating financial spreadsheets to show snapshots relevant to the level of management reporting required.
  • Produce cost/volume scenarios as required
     

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience managing and/or analyzing large amounts of data.
  • Strong command of EXCEL macros and functions as well as other MS tools (Word & PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with SAP to be able to set up and manage PR’s and PO’s as well as the ability to query accounts and calculate accruals.
  • High level of numeracy
  • Proven ability to manage own workload and manage tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Strong Change Management Skills to drive consistent processes across diverse geographies and cultures.
  • The ability to apply advanced analytical capabilities where problems are unusual, difficult, or conflicting.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills to see trends in data and the ability to act on those trends.
  • Works well under pressure during crisis situations.
  • Skills and experience to anticipate future trends in customer service and ability to create action plans on a customer service quality side.

 

Required experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the following areas
  • Financial controlling & analysis of external suppliers (direct/indirect services)
  • WFM forecasting
  • Operations for multi-lingual/multi-site contact centers
  • Experience working with contact center BPO suppliers or organizations
  • Business or technical qualification to degree standard or equivalent
