Position Highlights:

The Cloud Solutions Supervisor is an Information Technology Specialist responsible for the overall development and design of a robust, scalable, and cloud-based platform. S/He will be actively contributing their knowledge of modern software development techniques and technology to design services that utilize the latest technologies and architecture to produce services that meet customers’ demands.

Day-to-day activities:

  • Proposing suggestions and best practices to optimize customers’ cloud presence, performance, security, and cost
  • Carrying out debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and unit testing of custom solutions built on the organization/client platform
  • Providing prompt response to technical issues in a professional manner
  • Responsible for the creation of a well-informed cloud strategy and administering the adaption process
  • Responsible for designing highly available, durable, and cost-optimized solutions
  • Ensuring delivery of quality services according to the best practices and procedures in the company

Professional Experience:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in a technical design and/or operational role
  • Proven track of experience in designing and managing customer-facing services
  • In-depth expertise in the Linux environment
  • Comprehensive expertise with AWS platform tools and services
  • Individual must be able to work demanding hours that occasionally change, based on the workload
  • Understanding of 24x7 mission-critical enterprise computing environments and the impact of service disruption on a company’s bottom line
  • Good communication skills and customer focus
  • Ability and willingness to cover 24/7 shifts schedule when needed
  • Fluent in the English language
